The vast majority of function rooms have old fluroescent or similar lighting which you can not control the brightness of and creates a very "hard" light.
With our LED Up-lighters they can be set to any colour and any level of brightness, you could have them set to produce a soft gentle light for a wedding reception or a very hard but dark colour for a black tie themed event.
